Job Summary
This position requires the daily conduct of clinical research activities involving human subjects, including participant screening, eligibility assessment, and data and biospecimen collection and analysis in accordance with IRB‑approved protocols. The role ensures compliance with ICH‑GCP, biosafety, and institutional regulations while maintaining subject confidentiality and data integrity.
Responsibilities- Complete required ICH training, Biosafety training, and other required Federal, State, and Institutional training for conducting human subject research and keep them updated.
- Under minimal supervision, conduct clinical research, including screening, review of eligibility criteria, data/sample collection, in accordance with the IRB‑approved protocol, ensuring protocol compliance and preserving subject confidentiality.
- Perform complex technical duties involved in conducting biological and genetic research laboratory tests, experiments, and determinations to obtain data for research; compile, analyze, document, and draw tentative conclusions from experimental results.
- Research development and implementation of new tests and protocols, including development of AI‑based tools, under supervision.
- Analyze data, present results, and write manuscripts.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned.
- Valid bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, cell biology, social sciences, natural sciences, life, health‑care, or materials science directly related to the research area, and experience in a research or clinical setting.
- OR a valid associate degree from an accredited college or university in the mentioned fields with a minimum of three years of experience in a research or clinical area.
- Previous experience with social/behavioral science (public health) research.
- Proficiency in data analysis, presentation of data, and manuscript writing.
- Knowledge:
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases. - Skill:
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; detail‑oriented with strong prioritization and organizational skills. - Ability:
Maintain confidentiality; use sound judgment and work independently.
- Shift: Days;
Monday‑Friday. Work outside of normal business hours may be required. - Salary:
Pay Band B5; salary commensurate with qualifications within the established range, generally minimum‑midpoint. - Benefits:
