Additional Job Details

Data Analyst working with NIH All‑of‑Us database. Emory Global Diabetes Research Center and the Emory AI and Causal Lab are recruiting a Data Analyst to conduct research in machine learning, pharmacoepidemiology, trial emulation, and EHR data science. The candidate will use major EHR and real‑world data platforms, including Epic Cosmos, VA data, and the UK Biobank, to conduct comparative effectiveness studies in diabetes.

The candidate will also apply machine learning and causal AI methods to investigate treatment heterogeneity and generate evidence to support precision medicine. The position offers opportunities to propose novel research ideas in diabetes, collaborate with faculty in the Emory Global Diabetes Research Center, and develop projects and grant proposals.

Minimum Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree and one year of experience in data analysis, statistics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with NIH All‑of‑Us.
  • Demonstrated track record of research in diabetes.
  • Ability and willingness to work collaboratively in a team‑based research environment.
  • Individuals with posters/papers published using AOU will be prioritized.
