Student Research Assistant
Dr. Mahavir Chougule's laboratory in the College of Pharmacy at Mercer University is seeking a motivated PharmD student to join a research laboratory focused on molecular biology techniques and formulation development. This position offers hands-on experience in research and development aimed at developing innovative therapies for human diseases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with laboratory experiments (formulation development, characterization, cell culture, ELISA, Western blot, molecular biology)
- Maintain accurate research records
- Analyze data
- Support ongoing research projects
Qualifications:
- Current PharmD student with a background in biological and pharmaceutical sciences
- Prior experience with laboratory techniques (e.g., tissue culture, flow cytometry, protein analysis, formulation) preferred
- Strong organizational skills and a commitment to professional ethics and research integrity are required
Work Hours:
25 hours/week
Start Date:
06/23/2026
End Date: 08/10/2026
