Position Summary
Part‑time Laboratory Technician / Co‑Adjunct in Chemistry (Fall 2025 — Summer 2026) to support laboratory and lecture courses in Introductory, General, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry and Forensic Chemistry disciplines.
Responsibilities- Prepare reagents for chemistry laboratory courses.
- Wash glassware and maintain cleanliness of laboratory space.
- Assist with the preparation of laboratory exercises.
- Assist the primary course instructor with lecture and laboratory preparation and execution.
- Assist with data processing and chemical inventory management.
- 10 credits of post‑secondary education in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred for some disciplines.
- Laboratory experience preferred.
A minimum of $2,777 per credit. Final salary offer was determined by multiple factors, including candidate qualifications, experience, expertise, market benchmarks, internal equity, and availability of departmental or grant funds.
