Laboratory Technicians, Chemistry

Position Summary

Part‑time Laboratory Technician / Co‑Adjunct in Chemistry (Fall 2025 — Summer 2026) to support laboratory and lecture courses in Introductory, General, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry and Forensic Chemistry disciplines.

• Prepare reagents for chemistry laboratory courses.
• Wash glassware and maintain cleanliness of laboratory space.
• Assist with the preparation of laboratory exercises.
• Assist the primary course instructor with lecture and laboratory preparation and execution.
• Assist with data processing and chemical inventory management.

• 10 credits of post‑secondary education in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred for some disciplines.
• Laboratory experience preferred.

A minimum of $2,777 per credit. Final salary offer was determined by multiple factors, including candidate qualifications, experience, expertise, market benchmarks, internal equity, and availability of departmental or grant funds.
