Job Description & How to Apply Below

Northspyre is an end‑to‑end real‑estate development management platform that empowers developers with data‑driven insights and collaborative workflows.

We are building a market intelligence engine that transforms datasets on real‑estate budgets, costs, contracts, invoices, and change orders into insights trusted by developers, owners and CFOs.

Role Summary

This hybrid position combines data analysis and journalism. You will uncover trends in messy data, craft clear narratives, and publish authoritative content that positions Northspyre as the source of truth for development intelligence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create two major long‑form data reports per quarter, each with a clear storyline, strong analysis, and point of view.
  • Explore large datasets to uncover meaningful trends, anomalies, and signals.
  • Clean and normalize unstructured data using SQL, Excel, and statistical techniques.
  • Write insight‑driven content for a senior real‑estate audience.
  • Proactively source perspectives through outreach and interviews to complement the data.
  • Host webinars tied to major reports, presenting findings and engaging industry audiences.
  • Collaborate with brand and design to translate core insights into short‑form content and presentations.
Qualifications
  • Fluency in real‑estate development, economics, or adjacent domains.
  • Strong long‑form writing ability and proven editorial judgment.
  • Experience working hands‑on with data, including cleaning and validating complex datasets.
  • SQL experience (Snowflake preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to turn analysis into a compelling narrative, not just charts.
  • A self‑starter mindset – generate ideas, pursue sources, and move work forward independently.
  • Intellectual curiosity and critical thinking; ability to separate signal from noise.
  • Comfort conducting outreach, interviews, and follow‑ups.
Bonus Qualifications
  • Published market or industry reports that have been widely shared or cited.
  • Experience in real‑estate, land economics, development economics, or CRE research.
  • Webinar hosting, live presenting, or panel moderation experience.
  • Background in journalism, equity research, or brokerage/consulting research.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis beyond basic descriptive metrics.
Benefits & Perks
  • Competitive salary and meaningful stock option package.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage; 100% employer‑paid premiums for individual coverage for full‑time employees.
  • 401(k) match with full vesting after 6 months.
  • Unlimited vacation, paid sick leave, and major U.S. holidays.
  • Company swag and free access to Health Advocate.
  • Hybrid & remote opportunities; office in Midtown Atlanta.
  • Small, professional fast‑moving team with minimal supervision.
  • Annual team gatherings.
