Maintain software, hardware, and network infrastructure in a bioinformatics setting or molecular modeling laboratory
Supervise regular updates and recommend state-of-the-art enhancements
Analyze high-throughput screening data and perform structure-activity analyses to generate predictive correlations
Apply molecular modeling tools to refine high-throughput screening hits
Present models in a form that enables users to make decisions about the direction of an experimental program
Perform related responsibilities as required
- A master's degree in biology, biostatistics, chemistry, biochemistry, bioinformatics or related science or IT-based discipline
- Some student-related experience gained through formal Master's-level academic training
- Proficiency in R and Python
- Experience with single-cell RNA-seq and ATAC-seq pipelines and analysis, including Cell Ranger, Seurat, and Scanpy
- Interest in systems immunology and multi-omics analysis
- Experience with Jupyter Notebook and R Markdown for analysis and reproducible workflows
- Proficiency with high-performance computing (HPC) environments and job scheduling, such as SLURM
- Familiarity with AI tools to accelerate coding, analysis, and documentation workflows
- Residency in the state of GA
- Ability to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs
Demonstrates expertise in bioinformatics and molecular modeling, with proficiency in R and Python for data analysis and high-throughput screening. Capable of applying advanced analytical techniques and tools to support experimental decision-making in a collaborative research environment.
