About Capital City Club:
Founded in 1883, Capital City Club is one of the oldest private clubs in the South. Located in Downtown Atlanta, the club is home to a five-story brick building with multiple world-class dining venues, conveniently located within steps of the Peachtree Center Marta Station. JOINING OUR TEAM:
We are currently looking for bartenders. Applicants for this position should be seeking full-time employment and have open availability. These positions provide our members and their guests with exceptional beverages and services — an extraordinary experience.
Capital City Club is a non-tipping environment. We offer a competitive guaranteed wage that allows our staff to focus on providing premium-level service. - Minimum 21 years of age
- Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Can work independently and cohesively with others as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Two years of bartending experience preferred; experience in private clubs is a plus
- Detail-oriented
- Proficient in basic point-of-sale systems (training available);
North Star POS experience is a plus - Ability to stand for long periods
- High-energy, positive attitude
- Stock the bar daily and maintain organization/cleanliness. Prepare mise en place before opening
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with accuracy, following club standards and recipes
- Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision
- Attend all staff meetings, including pre-shift sessions and required training
- Practice beverage and revenue control procedures
- Complete other appropriate work assignments as requested by supervisor
- Collaborate with multiple teams to fulfill and exceed member expectations
- Provide excellent food and beverage service to members and guests
- Follow daily opening/closing procedures and complete daily checklists
- Assist team members to provide unique, personalized service
