Pay: $600 – $700 per week
Job Type: Full‑time or Part‑time (8‑hour shift, Morning/Evening shift, weekends as needed)

As a Barista at Lucky Star, you will play a vital role in creating a warm and inviting atmosphere while serving high‑quality beverages that reflect our Japanese‑inspired theme. Your passion for coffee and dedication to exceptional customer service will ensure that our guests leave with a memorable experience.

• Beverage Preparation:
  Craft and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, matcha, and traditional Japanese teas with precision and artistry. Learn and apply Japanese brewing techniques and presentation styles. Maintain a thorough knowledge of our drink menu, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Customer Service:
  Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately. Provide recommendations and explain menu items, focusing on our Japanese inspirations. Address customer inquiries and ensure a positive dining experience.

  Operate espresso machines and other brewing equipment while maintaining quality and safety standards. Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal performance.

  Work closely with other staff members to maintain a smooth workflow. Assist in training new baristas on our menu and service standards.
• Store Maintenance:
  Keep the coffee shop clean and organized, following health and safety regulations. Help with inventory management, including stocking supplies and noting low stock items. Perform weekly deep‑cleaning, including bleaching and oil removal.
• Cultural Engagement:
  Infuse Japanese culture into customer interactions and shop atmosphere (e.g., knowledge of local Japanese customs, seasonal drinks, and special events).

• Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is a plus.
• A passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about Japanese tea culture and brewing techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
