As an Assistant Merchant on the Osh Kosh brand, you’ll support the development of assortments from concept to market while sharpening your analytical and creative skills. It’s the perfect role for someone excited to learn, contribute, and make an impact. This role reports into the Director of Osh Kosh Girls and is based in our Buckhead office.
45%:Style Set Up /System Management
- Owner of style set‑up in PLM:
Understand the complexities of the database and impacts to other systems. Strong attention to detail, ability to keep up with line changes in the system. - Analyze and report on the business performance, including key findings and opportunities.
Sample Management
- Responsible for organizing and managing all samples.
- Prepare & manage materials to support product‑lead meetings.
Strategy and Line Structure
- Partner with manager to develop and manage seasonal line structure to drive growth.
- Identify new trends and have an eye for product.
- Develop awareness of competitive landscape and report on learnings.
- Manage all corporate calendar deadlines, support manager with prep for all milestone meetings.
Costing, Pricing, Margin Management
- Support manager in style level costing and total margin roll‑ups.
- Support design with clear communication of costing constraints.
- Maintain brand pricing charts and ensure accuracy across all systems and roll‑ups.
We’d Love to hear from you if:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 0‑2 years merchandising, retail sales, buying experience or internship
- Demonstrated knowledge of retail metrics and sales
- Strong working knowledge of Excel reports and PowerPoint presentations
- Detail oriented and organized
- Demonstrated ability working cross‑functionally and leading a team
- Ability to hit concurrent deadlines, manage and prioritize own workload
- Demonstrates strong presentation and influencing skills
