Overview
The Order Specialist is responsible for performing daily customer order management tasks that ensure timely, accurate processing of orders and organization of the stockroom. This position partners with the General Manager and Store Managers to ensure the stockroom is neat, safe and organized. This is a part‑time, hourly, non‑exempt position.

Responsibilities- Pull and prepare customer orders for pickup.
- Evaluate customer orders each day for successful execution to meet the demand for curbside pickup and local delivery requests.
- Execute all daily tasks so that all orders are completed on time.
- Communicate and follow up with customers on issues regarding their orders, all the way through resolution.
- Organize the stockroom, ensuring it is well‑maintained to support selling efforts of the store.
- Assist with cleaning routines around the store – including dusting, restrooms and vacuuming.
- Adhere to the time expectations established for the role, performing tasks with accuracy and timeliness while exhibiting pace and attention to detail.
- Maintain and down‑stock the Elfa product area in the stockroom.
- Perform daily location audits on customers’ orders.
- Execute changes to staging locations and partner with managers on updating the Elfa pull sequence.
- Support carry‑out to our customers’ cars whether through curbside or in the parking lot/garages.
- Consistently maintain clear communication with managers to seamlessly complete projects and to achieve sales goals.

- 2–5 years inventory experience (preferred).
- Retail sales experience a plus.
- Strong computer skills.
- Enjoys engaging with people and connecting with customers.
- Possesses focused attention to detail and solid organizational and prioritization skills while working quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Proven communication and coaching skills.
- Makes strategic and effective decisions in the best interest of our customers and our company, taking care to objectively process information.
- Understands retail is an ever‑changing industry and requires flexibility in scheduling.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
