Description
Parking Compliance Associate I – shift:
Monday – Friday; 10am – 7pm. The role ensures compliance with campus parking rules and regulations.
- Patrol campus and ensure vehicles, including bicycles and scooters, are parked in compliance with campus parking rules and regulations.
- Interpret regulations and make decisions on violation applicability.
- Enter data into computer systems, handheld, or mobile devices to issue citations.
- Utilize the parking management system to review citation and/or vehicle history.
- Educate campus community and visitors on rules and regulations.
- Assist visitors with information on campus locations and directions.
- Provide support to University events, including traffic coordination and transportation.
- Observe, analyze, and report the need for directional and regulatory signage.
- Aid motorists in need of assistance.
- Observe, detect, and report suspicious activities.
- Provide written reports, as necessary.
- May provide backup coverage for dispatch, including radio operations and customer service.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- A high school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience in parking or customer service, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Positions within this classification require a valid Georgia driver's license and an insurable driving record.
- Positions within this classification are required to lift up to 50 lbs and bend, stoop and twist.
NOTE:
Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee.
