Retail Sales Associate; Part Time

Position Overview

The Retail Sales Associate primarily works on the sales floor and cash wrap, generating revenue through merchandise sales and customer service. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting guests, stocking, staging and transporting merchandise, cycle counts, ticketing, maintaining visual standards, and cash handling. The associate must work collaboratively with minimal supervision.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and guest‑friendly sales floor.
• Greet guests and provide purchasing options based on their needs.
• Participate in bi‑annual inventory processes.
• Stay updated on product, pricing, and promotion information.
• Process financial transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Promote product sales and engage customers.
• Develop and implement cross‑selling strategies.
• Assist guests with returns and exchanges.
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic high school math skills.
• Basic computer and keyboarding skills.
• Cash handling experience (preferred).
• Strong communication skills and ability to read & interpret instructions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to pass drug screen and criminal background check.
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• No prior retail experience required.

Constant movement, standing, and lifting (up to 50 lbs). Requires standing for at least two consecutive hours and ability to perform repetitive motions, stooping, bending, and walking.

Position Type:
Part‑Time – 24 hours per week. Hours vary between 6 a.m. and midnight, with possible late shifts for events. Hourly Rate:
Starting at $15 per hour.
