As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organization and time management skills. You will build retailer relationships, optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations. Occasionally you may assist with other products from different companies in the stores you service.
SALARY AND SCHEDULE DETAILS- Your starting pay rate will be $14.00 to $16.00 per hour
, depending on experience. - Paid training is provided through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom sessions.

- Variable schedule during the work week.
- Average weekly hours: 8–10.
- Availability during major holidays—may include weekends—required.
- Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
- Day‑to‑day engagement: use a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Communicate with supervisors, report time, provide feedback, and complete required surveys.
- Holiday support: additional days and extended hours during holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Work on the actual holiday may be required.
- Department resets: assist with installations, relocations, and resetting of Hallmark fixtures and card sections. Notification typically occurs two weeks in advance; assignments may include evenings or weekends.
- Team collaboration: support other merchandisers within the network as needed.
This role is physically demanding. You must push, pull, lift, and carry cartons and merchandise up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Tasks include kneeling, squatting, walking, standing, and climbing stairs or ladders. Work occurs on the sales floor and in back stockrooms.
Basic Qualifications- Minimum age 18 years.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Physical capability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Operate a digital handheld device to access documents and interpret information.
- Access to Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
- Consistent, reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores.
