About the RoleWe are seeking a passionate and driven Assistant Store Manager for our boutique on Melrose. As a key member of the leadership team, you will drive team performance and development, fostering a culture that embodies the brand’s commitment to excellence, craftsmanship, and exceptional client experiences.
In this role, you will inspire your team to deliver memorable, elevated customer experiences while supporting the store’s operational success. In partnership with the General Manager, you will help hire and develop top talent, implement sales and client retention strategies, and uphold the brand’s high standards for store presentation, cleanliness, visual merchandising, and inventory management. You will also support the planning and execution of in‑store events and brand‑driven activations, ensuring they reflect the brand’s luxury positioning and create meaningful experiences for clients.
You will lead by example on the sales floor, ensuring a seamless, client‑centered experience while supporting daily operations, including opening and closing procedures. Additionally, you will assist in executing promotional events and activations, helping to engage clients and elevate the brand presence in‑market. Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic retail environment is essential, and proficiency in retail technologies such as POS, Google Suite, Endear, and Slack is highly valued.
Hourly Pay Range: $27‑$30 (hourly-plus-commission model; compensation determined by experience, skills, and qualifications).
Position Qualifications- 2+ years of leadership experience in a luxury retail boutique, with strong knowledge of fine jewelry or premium accessories.
- Proven ability to cultivate and manage client relationships, building loyalty and repeat business.
- Experienced people leader, skilled in coaching, feedback, and performance management to develop high‑performing teams.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Energetic, professional presence on the sales floor, able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be 18 years or older.
