Retail Sales Associate - Multiple Atlanta Locations

Retail Sales Associate position available at the following High Country Outfitters locations:

• Ansley Mall in Midtown
• Roswell Rd in Buckhead
• Avenue in East Cobb

The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for delivering a welcoming, helpful, and customer-focused shopping experience through strong service, daily store support, and positive customer interactions. This role supports all areas of the sales floor including customer engagement, merchandising, replenishment, recovery, and store cleanliness to help maintain a store environment that is organized, energized, and easy to shop.

The Retail Sales Associate demonstrates passion for customer service, teamwork, and creating a positive shopping experience. Every interaction on the sales floor contributes directly to how customers view the brand, the store, and their overall shopping experience.

This role exists to ensure every customer feels acknowledged, supported, and excited to return.

• Greet and engage customers throughout the day to create a welcoming and approachable shopping environment.
• Assist customers with product recommendations, sizing, and general questions to help improve their overall shopping experience.
• Maintain a positive and energetic attitude on the sales floor to support a customer-first culture.
• Help ensure customers can easily find product, navigate the store, and receive timely assistance when needed.
• Support store leadership in maintaining strong service standards during all business hours.

• Help maintain a clean, recovered, and organized sales floor so customers can shop comfortably and efficiently.
• Replenish merchandise and maintain full displays to support product availability and presentation standards.
• Assist with fitting room recovery, go-backs, and daily floor maintenance to keep the store customer-ready.
• Support daily operational tasks and priorities without negatively impacting customer experience.
• Help maintain store cleanliness and organization throughout all areas of the business.

• Build basic product knowledge to better assist customers and support selling opportunities.
• Operate the register accurately and efficiently to support smooth customer transactions.
• Support merchandising projects, floor moves, and seasonal updates as directed by leadership.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing incoming product to improve overall store efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with teammates to maintain strong communication and daily execution.

• Follow direction from store leadership and complete assigned tasks with consistency and urgency.
• Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to contribute positively to the team environment.
• Communicate questions, concerns, or customer feedback to leadership when appropriate.

• No prior retail experience required; previous customer service, volunteer, school, experience is helpful.
• Willingness to learn about retail, products, and customer service standards.
• Ability to maintain a positive and energetic attitude with customers and teammates.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Dependable, reliable, and able to follow directions.
