Lot Attendant

The role of a Lot Attendant is a very important part in the overall repossession process. When the vehicle is repossessed, it will be brought to the lot by the repossession field agent.

• Review your current Lot inventory
• Inspect lot and vehicles to see if anything is out of place or tampered with
• Inspect property area to see everything is in order
• It is the lot attendant’s responsibility to clean out the asset by removing the personal property and placing into bags, tagging and organizing.
• All keys are to be tagged and stored in the key lock box within the office
• Verify the agent filled in the personal property inventory on RDN –make adjustments to the list as needed.

• Copy of license
• Only release property to the debtor or authorized person on release
• Review paperwork and verify all fees were paid to the office
• Get all paperwork signed and dated

• Must be at least 24 years of age
• Must have a clean driving record
• Must lift 50 pound boxes to a height of 3-4 feet and load them into shelving or other places.
• Must be knowledgeable in operating a computer and other office productivity machinery
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills
• Must have strong attention to detail, good organizational skills
• Must be able to detect and identify personal property, what is trash, what needs to go to the authorities and others.
• Must constantly work in any and all outdoor weather conditions.
