Assistant Manager POC

** Description*
* Essential Responsibilities:

+ Insures accurate and timely timecard management for both self and staff.

+ Upholds dress code standards for both self and staff.

+ Use company tools and processes to document performance of staff.

+ Models' integrity to staff and treat others with respect.

Supervises day-to-day retail operations:

+ Signs customers up for the cake club and explains the benefits.

+ Assists the store manager with creating weekly/monthly schedules.

+ Complete all assigned duties within the given deadline.

+ Resolves customer issues quickly and delivers appropriate solutions to make customers happy.

+ Manages retail inventory variance as well as timely inventory completion.

+ Responsible for cash variance for both sales and petty cash.

Maintains exceptional quality of all products:

+ Utilizes FIFO guidelines and reduces waste.

+ Maintains store cleanliness and appearance.

+ Use operational tools to ensure completion of opening and closing duties.

+ Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations.

+ Follows appropriate slicing guidelines.

+ Provides meaningful feedback for the DM with suggestions for improvement.

Focuses on Company Engagement

+ Engages in monthly promotional goals.

+ Completes all required employee training.

+ Ask questions if something is unclear and seeks out opportunities to learn.

Sales Focus and Transaction Grown:

+ Assists with coaching employees on sales techniques to help increase sales for both bakery and retail products.

+ Ensure employees adhere to sales initiatives.

Requirement

+ High school diploma or GED

+ Serv Safe Certification within 60 days of hire or promotion

+ Retail experience
