The Merchandise Coordinator partners with cross-functional teams including Buying, Planning, Inventory Management, Marketing, and Store Operations to ensure products are accurately represented, delivered on time, and positioned for success across stores and digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support merchandising and buying teams with product setup, assortment management, and seasonal product launches.
  • Coordinate item creation, pricing, promotional activities, and product lifecycle updates within merchandising systems.
  • Analyze sales, inventory, and customer trends to identify opportunities and recommend actions.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly merchandising reports using Excel and business intelligence tools.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in managing replenishment, markdowns, and product transitions.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely product delivery and accurate product information.
  • Maintain product data integrity, including descriptions, attributes, pricing, and imagery.
  • Assist with promotional planning, assortment reviews, and category presentations.
  • Support store teams by responding to merchandising inquiries and resolving product-related issues.
  • Participate in special merchandising projects and continuous process improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree completed within the past three years in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, Retail Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of retail experience in stores, merchandising, buying support, inventory, visual merchandising, or retail operations.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and basic data analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
