I’m reaching out because I’m working on a strong new National Sales Manager opportunity with a major manufacturer of pressure‑sensitive materials. This role leads the Building & Construction product line and sells through rep groups and distributors. It functions as a de facto National Account Manager role—no direct reports, but high visibility and impact.
The focus is on growing existing accounts, opening new ones, and expanding private label business. Ideal home base is anywhere east of the Mississippi (Atlanta, Philadelphia, Newark, etc.).
What the right candidate brings
- Experience selling consumables (not equipment) into the Building & Construction market
- Background managing and growing large or national accounts
- Experience promoting or expanding private label branding
- Four‑year degree strongly preferred
- Ability to travel up to 50% domestically
Compensation
- Approximately $160k base + $20k bonus, and full benefits
