As we continue to expand our Service & Maintenance Division, we are seeking a high-performing Maintenance Sales Representative to drive growth through preventative maintenance agreements and long-term service partnerships.
Position SummaryThe Maintenance Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new business through the sale of preventative maintenance agreements, service contracts, and long-term mechanical solutions. This role requires a strategic, consultative approach to selling, targeting facility managers, property managers, industrial operators, and executive decision makers throughout the Atlanta market.
This individual must be entrepreneurial, self-driven, and capable of building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline while representing the PCM brand with professionalism and technical confidence.
LocationBased in Atlanta, GA with regional travel throughout the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and sell customized HVAC preventative maintenance agreements and service contracts to new and existing clients.
- Prospect and generate new business through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and strategic market targeting.
- Identify and engage high-level decision makers including Facility Directors, Property Managers, Operations Managers, and Ownership groups.
- Conduct equipment surveys and site assessments to evaluate mechanical system needs.
- Prepare accurate pricing estimates and proposals using approved company tools and software.
- Present comprehensive service solutions tailored to client operational and budgetary goals.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Enter and track all opportunities, activities, and forecasts within the company CRM system.
- Collaborate with internal operations, estimating, and service teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Attend and actively participate in industry events (BOMA, IFMA, Chamber, trade associations, etc.) to build brand presence and generate opportunities.
- Provide weekly sales activity reports and forecasting updates to leadership.
- Proven ability to generate and close self-sourced business.
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to uncover operational pain points and position value-driven solutions.
- Confident communicator comfortable presenting to executive-level stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Highly organized with disciplined pipeline management.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a hunter mentality.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating with internal teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
- Minimum 3+ years of direct B2B sales experience with self-generated revenue.
- Experience selling HVAC, mechanical service, facility services, or related technical solutions strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial mechanical systems highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required based on experience.
- ENR-ranked mechanical contractor with strong regional reputation.
- Established service infrastructure and operational support.
