Sales Development Rep/SDR, Technical Sales, Business Development
Reviews all quotes submitted by Sales and vets whether the Opportunity is ready to Quote. Configures quotes as required by sales representatives and managers. Provide assistance to sales personnel regarding product information, hardware, software, and licensing pricing and configuration. Provides expertise related to key third party hardware and software vendors. Serves a critical role revenue-generating role within the Solution Engineering team.
Responsibilities- Sales Quotes. Manages sales quote queue, configures quotes and budgetary estimates within Salesforce, confirms approvals and artifacts are included in quote, oversees product structure and supports Salesforce configuration, attend bid integrity calls with Sales and key stakeholders to ensure proposal is ready to quote, implement, and support.
- Vendor Knowledge Share
. Partners with Product leaders to help provide technical knowledge to Sales, SOW Analysts and supporting teams regarding hardware, software and licensing configurations. - Purchase Orders. Creates and submits purchase orders to vendors for all third-party software licensing and hardware per solution orders. Work with Product Management and Project Management to support ordering hardware and software per project stage gate.
- Vendor Quotes/Reports. Partner with product, sales and vendors to manage, request and vet third party vendor quotes for hardware and software. Reviews vendor quotes to ensure adequate margin is achieved. Provide monthly/quarterly reports to vendors as required.
- POs and Requisition s. Generate all purchase orders in S4/Hana, submit and receive purchase orders from vendors, provide tracking information to clients or Sales, provide responses to questions from vendor, clients or Sales.
Education and Experience:
HS/GED and 2-4 years of supporting Sales and/or business experience or Associates in Computer Science or equivalent field and 2 years
- 1. Experience with MS-Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, Excel, Salesforce, CRM platform
- 2. Sales and/or quote support experience with services, hardware, software and licensing
- 3. Excellent time management skills, attention to detail, and organization skills
- 4. Effective communication skills, both written and oral
Education and Experience:
Associates in Computer Science or equivalent field and 2 years of supporting Sales and/or business experience
- 1. Experience supporting Sales, implementing and/or installing software or licensing
- 2. Experience managing vendor / third party relationships
- 3. Experience drafting and/or reviewing contract documents or Purchase Orders
- 4. Thrive in a highly-collaborative work environment
- 5. Ability to lead fact-finding calls with various subject matter experts
- 6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Must be 18 years of age or older
CompensationThe compensation range for this position is $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 annually. This position will be eligible for commission or an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.
