Counter Sales Representative Inside Sales

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative (Inside Sales) to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting walk-in customers, supporting inside sales operations, processing orders, and providing product recommendations to ensure an outstanding customer experience.

• Greet and assist walk-in customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Process sales orders accurately and efficiently (in-person and via phone/email)
• Provide product information, pricing, and availability
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
• Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely order fulfillment
• Handle returns, exchanges, and customer inquiries
• Maintain organized sales counter and showroom areas
• Support inside sales team with quotes and follow-ups

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred)
• Previous experience in inside sales, counter sales, or customer service (industrial or distribution experience a plus)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer proficiency and experience with order entry systems
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
