Associates must be within a reasonable commuting distance of an Elevance Health location. The role requires in‑office presence 1–2 days per week, with the remainder of the schedule flexible and virtual.
The National Account Advisor is responsible for the day‑to‑day service of national accounts, with a typical book of business size of 75,000 members or fewer.
How You Will Make An Impact- Consult with clients on developing and designing specific benefit plans that best meet client needs.
- Manage and coordinate benefit design issues and modifications with internal operations and implementation staff.
- Analyze client needs and develop, recommend, and implement product improvements or additions to increase sales.
- Develop relationships with and respond to inquiries from existing accounts, members, and brokers.
- Understand client benefits and objectives; influence companies or clients to add additional products or services (upsell).
- Deliver on client commitments.
- Understand client and market to anticipate needs and articulate requests meaningfully to clients.
- BA/BS degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in account management or sales; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Sales license required where necessary.
