Lead, coach, and develop a team of Territory Managers to drive profitable premium growth and achieve regional sales goals.
Build and strengthen agency relationships while identifying opportunities to expand business within existing accounts and develop new distribution partnerships.
Conduct field visits, ride-alongs, training sessions, workshops, and webinars to support agency and Territory Manager success.
Partner with Product, Claims, Customer Experience, and leadership teams to execute market strategies and support organizational objectives.
Analyze market trends, agency performance, and loss ratio results to develop action plans that improve profitability, retention, and growth.
Manage agency appointments, terminations, and rehabilitation efforts while ensuring compliance with company standards and processes.
Support annual business planning, budgeting, and state-specific sales strategies in partnership with regional leadership.
Monitor performance metrics, maintain sales reporting, manage travel budgets, and contribute to strategic sales initiatives across the region.
What We’re Looking For:5+ years of insurance sales
, marketing, agency management, or business development experience.
3+ years of carrier-side experience working with independent agents and distribution partners.
Proven leadership experience coaching, mentoring, and developing sales professionals or Territory Managers.
Strong understanding of agency distribution, premium growth strategies, loss ratio management, and profitability objectives.
Experience building and maintaining relationships with agency principals, producers, and customer service teams.
Ability to analyze market data, identify growth opportunities, and execute strategic business plans.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory and maintain an active presence with agency partners.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, Risk Management, or equivalent industry experience preferred.
