We are looking for a DM MC APS position based at Alpharetta.
Responsibilities- Market/customer engagement, opportunity management & deal support
- Representing DI to key regional market stakeholders, e.g. at trade fairs, conferences and associations, and on social media as Technology and Thought Leader Ambassadors
- Engaging with selected high-priority customers, e.g., within bid processes
- Actively driving new technologies and DI AUT offerings into the Sales organization, e.g., to Sales Acceleration and Sales channels
- Supporting Sales Acceleration with expertise in the bid process for major new projects
- Analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to identify new business opportunities and areas for portfolio growth/expansion and aligning closely with Account Manager and Technical Sales
- Providing (topline) input for new feature business cases
- Owning the technology vision for the assigned TPEs and identifying business potential for those TPEs
- Driving technical sales strategies in collaboration with Technical Sales
- Leading the technical aspects of deal structuring and closure
- Empowering sales teams by providing key technical insights and sales narratives
- Defining and communicating a customer value proposition from a technical perspective for the assigned TPEs
- Providing technical expertise on portfolio selection and fit, supporting both internal sales teams and external customers
- Ensuring a seamless handover to delivery teams for smooth service execution and solution delivery (e.g., facilitating customer onboarding, adoption, and satisfaction to drive long-term customer retention and growth)
- Providing feedback to portfolio development teams based on market requirements and customer insights
- Advocating for technology and service adoption at executive level, supporting long-term business transformation initiatives
- Rolling‑out focus initiatives
- Strong knowledge of Siemens Digital Industries automation & drives products or corresponding products for the discrete OEM industries
- 8+ years of prior sales experience within Industrial Automation
- Solid technical background with hands‑on engineering experience for our DI AUT automation & drives portfolio
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
- 3+ years of sales management experience and prior experience working within Automation & Drive Systems
- Ability for a structured & analytic approach to analyze status, propose measures, implement and follow‑up
- Teamwork spirit

The pay range for this position is $91,463 – $156,794 annually with a target incentive of 20% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and geographical location.
