The company is experiencing rapid, sustained growth and is seeking an experienced Sales Executive (Hunter) to join its high-performing Sales team. This is a pure new business acquisition role focused on driving revenue growth across Midmarket and SMB segments.
You will work directly with prospective customers to position and sell the company’s solutions, services, and products. A key part of your role will be articulating value, demonstrating ROI, and presenting compelling business cases to win new clients. This is a true hunter role, requiring a proactive, self-driven approach to pipeline generation and deal closure.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and commercially astute, with strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities. You will be comfortable engaging in technical discussions, quickly understanding complex solutions, and translating them into clear customer value. This role requires a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and self-generate new business opportunities within the company’s core vertical markets
- Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting through to negotiation and close
- Present the company’s solutions, services, and products to prospective clients, clearly articulating value and ROI
- Negotiate commercial terms and close deals with Midmarket and SMB merchants
- Conduct and lead high-impact sales meetings and product presentations
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with ISVs, ISOs, and PSPs with access to Midmarket and SMB segments
- Analyse market trends, industry developments (technical, regulatory, and commercial), and competitor activity to inform sales strategy
- Develop a strong working knowledge of the platform from both technical and end-user perspectives
- Demonstrate measurable ROI and business value to prospective customers
- Maintain an active and accurate pipeline with consistent forecasting and reporting
- Perform additional duties as required to support business growth
- 3–7 years of experience in software sales, with a strong focus on hunter-based new business development in payments, Fin Tech, or related industries
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets
- Strong understanding of payments ecosystems, including eCommerce and digital payment platforms (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
English fluency is essential (additional languages are an advantage) - Strong networking, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills
- Highly self-motivated, energetic, and comfortable working independently
- Ability to quickly understand client needs and translate them into tailored solutions
- Strong organisational and time management skills; able to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness and ability to travel as required
