SHOWROOM SALES SPECIALIST - PT

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States, 30318

Position Type: Part-Time, maximum 29 hours per week;
Saturday required.

• Provide interior design advice, product expertise, and facilitate tile and stone selection for customers.
• Support project development and ensure completion of selections and sales.
• Log all client showroom visits, contact information, and detailed preference notes in CMT.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal team members to follow leads, track progress, and close sales.
• Prospect new business with an emphasis on custom builders and residential designers; make outside sales calls and follow up on leads.
• Maintain showroom samples and merchandising, including ordering, receiving, and displaying models and displays.
• Ship customer examples as needed to support sales.
• Maintain contact with suppliers and locally sourced vendors to stay current on design and product offerings.
• Plan and host showroom tours and events for the industry trade to drive sales and build brand awareness.
• Attend outside trade events to develop industry relationships.
• Work evenings and weekends as required.

• Education:
  
  A four‑year degree in a related field, or a combination of a two‑year degree and two years of related experience.
• Experience:
  
  Four years of related sales experience, or equivalent.
• Competencies:
  
  Sales and customer engagement, customer service, design/sketching/reading blueprints, Auto‑CAD (plus), color coordination, interior design trends, and creative thinking.
• Computer skills: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and customer‑management tools.
• Excellent oral, written, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Requires regular standing, use of hands, and reaching.
• Must walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; may sometimes need to sit, climb, or balance.
• May lift and move up to 80 pounds.
• Requires close and peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• May be exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and a wide range of temperatures.
• Work environment is usually loud; reasonable accommodations available.
