Under the leadership of the Directors of Business Development and other leadership and in partnership with the Account Executive team, the Community Relations Outreach serves as a subject matter expert for each Rogers service line, leveraging operational and clinical experience to promote Rogers services to key community stakeholders.
Job Duties & Responsibilities- Develop, manage, and further enduring alliances with existing and prospective referring providers.
- Identify new referral and partnership opportunities.
- Maintain, advance, and strengthen strategic referent relationships.
- Develop and enhance alliance workflow and standards.
- Plan and implement proactive growth tactics on a daily basis.
- Execute a consultive, patient‑focused sales approach, engaging customers through face‑to‑face and virtual meetings, including regular cold calling.
- Attend daily activities such as Lunch & Learns, breakfasts, dinner programs, professional networking events, and other result‑oriented appointments.
- Monitor expenditures and utilize budget allocation effectively.
- Assist in planning and executing continuing education events and promoting CE webinars and in‑person events at referent meetings.
- Conduct on‑site campus and program tours.
- Maintain frequent contact with referents via phone calls, e‑mail, social media, and other communications to remain top of mind.
- Meet activity, census, and individual objectives set by department leadership.
- Document all referent interactions in CRM software promptly, complete monthly operational and reporting requirements, and analyze results to inform decisions.
- Submit expense reports (mileage, credit card, purchase requests, check requests) in a timely manner.
- Possess a strong desire and dedication to continuous learning and the ability to effectively communicate complex behavioral health topics.
- Maintain knowledge of a wide variety of behavioral health programs, diagnoses, and trends.
- Communicate the efficacy, patient types, and outcomes of all Rogers programming effectively.
- Demonstrate local, regional, and national market knowledge.
- Participate in training and educational opportunities to build and maintain expertise.

- Speak up to address workplace issues with solution‑focused, strength‑based perspectives.
- Value diverse perspectives and collaborate effectively to achieve organizational goals.
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, communications, psychology, social work, or a related major.
- Minimum of two (2) years of business development and/or related experience.
- Experience with strategic planning, new business development, and negotiation.
- Computer proficiency with Word and Excel.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be granted insurable status by the Rogers insurance policy.
