Job Overview

As a Cosmetic Sales Flex Colleague—also known as a Beauty Advisor Flex—you trust our customers for all things beauty. Your passion for products and people creates personalized, inspiring shopping experiences that build confidence and drive sales.

You’ll act as an educator and beauty expert, offering expert advice, conducting product demonstrations, and providing tailored consultations, including makeup application and skincare recommendations. Your deep product knowledge, trend awareness and the ability to match products to customers’ needs sets you apart. Building lasting client relationships is at the heart of your role; you proactively grow and manage a loyal client base through consistent follow‑up, virtual outreach, and personalized service, always exceeding expectations and achieving sales goals.

How Our Beauty Colleagues Spend Their Day
  • They begin each day energized, wearing their name badge, greeting teammates, and ensuring the sales floor is clean, organized, and ready for customers. They review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and top‑selling items, and stay up to date on trends and promotions before interacting with customers.
  • On the floor, they focus on the customer—offering a warm welcome, making eye contact, and creating friendly personal conversations to build lasting relationships.
  • Throughout the day, they maintain a shoppable space by recovering the floor, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves.
  • They finish strong by sharing our Loyalty program benefits, ensuring customers have everything they need, and ending with a sincere thank‑you, often walking the package around and using the customer’s name.
  • We believe service starts with each other—supporting one another with honesty, care, and collaboration to serve our customers and communities better.

Flex Team Colleagues have minimum work requirements of 42 hours per quarter during the 1st, 2nd, 3rd fiscal quarters (February–April, May–July, August–October). During the 4th Fiscal Quarter (November–January) you will be required to work 60 hours during the quarter. Minimum hours may change, and weekend shifts may be required.

Who You Are
  • Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Must be able to:
    • Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co‑workers, and supervisors.
    • Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English.
  • Deliver personalized beauty experiences by building relationships with customers, uncovering their needs, demonstrating product applications, and educating them on benefits and use of beauty products.
  • Responsible for acquiring new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits.
  • Drive sales and client loyalty by maintaining an organized and shoppable space, leveraging clienteling tools to promote offers and product launches, participating in sales events, and staying up to date through ongoing training and vendor education.
  • Meet and surpass daily sales goals by delivering exceptional service.
  • Effectively use point‑of‑sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions and enhance the shopping experience.
  • At least one year of customer service or selling experience required.
