Presales Solution Consultant - Energy and Resources

Job Type: Full-time

Join IFS as a Sr. Solutions Consultant, partnering with sales and development teams to create solution architecture and RFPs, enabling our Energy and Resources products to meet client needs.

• Lead, engage, and support the sales team. Communicate with customers, build trust, and understand their needs.
• Create RFPs and provide solution demonstrations to clients.
• Design architectural solutions and lead proof‑of‑concept activities.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership to contribute to sales strategy and deliver results.
• Support and provide technical expertise during sales calls and prospect engagements.
• Gather requirements, develop use cases, and deliver results that address client needs.
• Manage technical responses to RFIs/RFPs and oversee team to provide consultative solutions.
• Present solution proposals to clients, showcasing how Energy and Resources products meet and exceed requirements.
• Demonstrate expert understanding of upstream oil and gas and energy applications.
• Travel as required to meet client or business needs.

• 5+ years of Solutions Consultant experience.
• BA/BS or equivalent; accounting/finance degree preferred.
• Experience in upstream oil and gas software is a plus.
• Working knowledge of oil and gas accounting complexities preferred.

• Salary Range: $120,000 – $140,000 plus bonus.
