The Role
The Business Development Representative drives initial pipeline growth by identifying target accounts, initiating strategic outreach, and qualifying prospects for the sales team. This position operates in a fast-paced technology market, requiring high-volume daily communication, strict adherence to activity metrics, and deep alignment with account executives.
Key Responsibilities- Execute high-volume outbound cold calling, strategic email sequences, and social selling tactics daily
- Qualify inbound leads against established ideal customer profile criteria and book meetings for account executives
- Utilize tools like Salesforce, Outreach, and Linked In Sales Navigator to track activity and manage pipelines
- Conduct thorough account research to personalize messaging for C-level decision-makers in enterprise tech
- Collaborate with sales management to refine outreach scripts, talk tracks, and objection-handling strategies
- Maintain clean CRM hygiene by logging all call notes, contact details, and pipeline stages accurately
- 0-2 years of professional experience in sales, business development, or high-volume customer-facing roles
- Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong active listening capabilities
- High level of resilience, self-motivation, and comfort operating in a quota-driven environment
- Bonus:
Prior experience with Salesforce CRM, Outreach.io, Zoom Info, or SaaS sales methodologies
