The Full‑Service Delivery Merchandiser Non CDL is a touch freight position responsible for delivering and merchandising products to customer locations on designated routes within a defined territory.
What your day will look like- Follow all Full‑Service processes, rules, and requirements.
- Service all scheduled vending machines on the daily assigned route to company standards.
- Ensure each vendor is maintained with proper brands and maximize space‑to‑sales ratio.
- Utilize handheld computer to generate accurate sales and record all money collected.
- Accurate accounting for all daily money, cases, consignment, and unit transactions.
- Foster relationships with account personnel and provide superior customer service.
- Maintain a neat, clean appearance of all Coca‑Cola vending and brand partner equipment and products.
- Execute all merchandising standards on all machines.
- Maintain the coin mechanism/change dispenser at every fill, adjusting and cleaning as needed.
- Assist in soliciting new accounts and vendor locations to grow the route.
- Notify Full‑Service Management of mechanical problems or changes in account status.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to leadership on competitive threats and business opportunities.
- Work effectively with all functional team members.
- Build strong relationships with the customer base across assigned accounts.
- Return all out‑of‑date products to plant for processing.
- Complete end‑of‑day settlement and paperwork.
- Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management.
- Minimum age 21 years.
- Valid driver’s license.
- DOT certification required and obligation to maintain compliance with United fleet policy.
- Ability to use personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with safety policies.
- Regular and prompt attendance.
- Read, write and speak English.
- Maintain a neat, professional appearance within company guidelines.
- Protect company assets.
- Utilize company‑provided resources and technology.
- Lift up to 50 pounds repetitively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Limited high‑school education or up to six months related experience, or an equivalent combination.
- Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Write simple correspondence.
- Present information to customers, clients, and employees in a one‑on‑one or small‑group setting.
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Problem‑solve.
- Operate a manual or motorized pallet jack.
- Respond to and resolve customer issues.
- Self‑motivate and perform job duties with minimal supervision.
Position requires compliance with the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment program. Must wear safety‑toed shoes when operating powered industrial equipment, using palletized product, handling hand trucks or dollies, during cooler services, or other tasks as indicated. The job also involves sitting, standing, walking, bending, kneeling/squatting, climbing stairs, and handling overhead reach; often includes typing, operating a vehicle, using PPE, pushing or pulling loads, fine manipulation, and exposure to water, chemicals, weather, and noise.
