Position Summary
The Healthcare Business Development Manageris responsible for developing and growing strategic referral partnerships that increase access to Behavior Frontiers' autism services for children and families. Serving as the face of Behavior Frontiers within the healthcare and community, this role builds trusted relationships with physicians, hospitals, therapy providers, schools, and community organizations to educate stakeholders, strengthen referral networks, and support sustainable market growth.
Success in this role is built on consultative relationship development—not transactional selling.
The Healthcare Business Development Manager understands the needs of referral partners,identifiesopportunities to improve access to care, collaborates closely with clinical and operational teams, and develops strategic territory plans that align outreach efforts with organizational growth goals.

- Build andmaintainstrong, consultative relationships with physicians, healthcare providers, therapy clinics, hospitals, schools, and community organizations.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for priority referral sources,identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and increase referrals.
- Conduct daily outreach through in-person visits, virtual meetings, educational presentations, networking events, and purposeful follow-up.
- Represent Behavior Frontiers at community events, conferences, resource fairs, and professional networking opportunities.
- Serve as a trusted resource by educating referral partners on ABA therapy, autism services, insurance access, and Behavior Frontiers' clinical programs.
- Proactivelyidentifyandengagenew referral sources through thoughtful prospecting, networking, and market development activities.
- Develop and execute territory growth strategies aligned with organizational goals and center capacity.
- Identify referral barriers and collaborate with internal teams to improve accessforfamilies.
- Analyze referral trends, market opportunities, and competitive activity to inform outreach priorities.
- Maintain a balanced pipeline of prospective, developing, and established referral relationships.
- Participate in strategic business development initiatives to support regional growth.
- Collaborate with Clinical Directors, Center Leaders, Intake, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to align outreach efforts, communicatereferraland market trends, support educational engagement with referral partners, and deliver an exceptional experience for both referral sources and the families we serve.
- Maintainaccurateaccount information, referral activity, opportunity forecasting, and relationship history within Salesforce.
- Utilize Salesforce reporting and pipeline data to prioritize outreach efforts and communicate territory performance.
- Continuously expand knowledge of autism spectrum disorder, ABA therapy, payer landscapes, and community resources.
- Participate in ongoing sales, communication, and professional development training.
- Remain current on industry trends and best practices in healthcare outreach and referral development.
- Demonstratea high levelof professionalism, accountability, and integrity in all interactions.
- Adhere to all company policies, compliance requirements, and industry guidelines.
- Travel throughout assigned regions to support provider engagement and business development initiatives, including overnight travel as needed.
- Participate in occasional evening and weekend community events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent healthcare business development experience.
- Experience in physician liaison, healthcare business development, provider relations, pharmaceutical sales, medical device sales, behavioral health, therapy services, or related healthcare outreach preferred.
- Demonstrated success building long-term professional relationships and managing a consultative sales process.
- Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience utilizing Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
