Role
Purpose:
To grow the business by finding and maintaining business relationships in the assigned region. Candidate will be tasked with prospecting opportunities, managing current client list and CRM platform, and overseeing regional sales success.
Job description: The Sales Manager is tasked with being a driving force behind revenue growth across all channels for a designated region. This role requires a polished professional that can build (or already has) bonds in the community and knows how to pivot those connections into opportunities. While this role does spend the majority of the time on the phone and computer, Sales Managers are also highly encouraged (and sometimes expected to) spend time outside of the office to be an active part of the neighborhood by attending chamber meetings, participating in networking events, etc.
Job Responsibilities:- Communicating to clients via phone, email, and social media.
- Maintaining CRM by keeping the deal pipeline accurate, logging new leads and deals, and enrolling clients into marketing sequences.
- Manage wholesale client portfolio by following up on orders, visiting clients, and onboarding new clients.
- Finding retail opportunities including festivals, farmers markets, and local venues such as parks and town centers for us to bring a cart.
- Keep an accurate scorecard of weekly revenue, booked deals, and upcoming events.
- Putting events on the schedule and ensuring accurate information is given to the execution team in a timely manner.
- Maintaining social media accounts by posting cart spots for the week, making engaging content, and growing the following.
- Must be over the age of 18
- Must have experience with CRM platforms such as Hubspot, Monday, or Zoho.
- Can maintain an inbox and respond to emails within a timely manner.
- Must be a people person and can build and maintain relationships with clients, customers, and decision makers.
- Must have adequate knowledge of marketing strategy, brand building, and storytelling.
- Must be detail-oriented and can ensure accurate reporting, detailed notes, and organized systems.
- Must be able to work in an office environment 5 days a week.
- Must be willing to occasionally work outside of normal business hours.
- Nice to have: History in (or pursuing/have a degree in) events, sales, or marketing.
Monday (in-office): Weekly sales reporting, confirming events for the week, updating
wholesale catalog, sending weekly email to customers through square, festival scrub,
meeting with admin & GM.
Tuesday (off-site): visiting wholesale clients, doing business development pop drops,
Prospecting local opportunities.
Wednesday (in-office): Coordinating execution plans with the ops manager, scheduling
social media posts.
Thursday (in-office): Following up with any non-recurring retail spots to ensure
accuracy, completing marketing playbook tasks. Pre-weekend meeting with admin.
Friday (off-site): Auditing cart execution and location viability, making content with
Daily task: Checking in with GM, responding to emails, checking CRM for inbound deals and responding within 4 hours, looking for retail, catering, and wholesale opportunities.
Monthly tasks: Generating ranked sales report of events, flagship locations, and individual slinger performance. Generating report of opportunities on the horizon in the next 90 days.

This role will accrue 80 hours of PTO per year. Any unused PTO will be forfeited on February 28th of the following year.
Quarterly Bonus: Sales Manager is eligible to receive a quarterly bonus of up to 10% of quarterly sales growth over previous year for the assigned region. Sales manager is also eligible for additional $500 per quarter for achieving sales targets in regions in absence of a sales manager.
Success in this Role:Success in this role looks like a robust market with consistent Year-over-Year growth across all encompassing territories. It also looks like someone who is active in the business community attending at least 1 networking event per month per territory. It looks like good marketing practices by being consistent on all communication platforms. Lastly it looks like healthy relationships with our wholesale and prepaid clients, as well as retail connections.
