As a Sales Specialist with Varian Medical Systems, you will support the Southeast Region sales team, help drive revenue growth, and gain valuable hands-on experience working directly with sales leaders and customers. Reporting to the Regional Director of Sales, you will play a key role in helping the region achieve its sales goals and revenue targets.

What You'll Do

• Partner with District Sales Managers to support daily sales activities.
• Manage the customer upgrade process and identify revenue opportunities.
• Assist in developing strategies for new sales leads and business growth.
• Support customer and account management efforts.
• Collaborate with Operations to drive revenue and customer success.
• Manage backlog items to help achieve regional goals.
• Travel with the sales team and participate in customer visits to build your sales and relationship management skills.

What You'll Bring

• 1+ years of sales experience in a customer-facing or sales support role.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities.
• A motivated, customer-focused mindset with a desire to learn and grow.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

The base pay range for this position is:

$116,000 - $159,500

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
