Senior Sales Associate

Music & Arts is seeking a PT Senior Sales Associate to drive sales and deliver outstanding service in our retail store. You'll guide students, parents, and educators in selecting band and orchestra instruments, rentals, and accessories, while promoting private lessons and repair services. Responsibilities include client service, product demos, opening/closing procedures, merchandising, and accurate POS transactions. You will support school outreach efforts, meet sales goals, and help maintain a collaborative, student focused, and inclusive environment that champions music education and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons
• Provide expert product knowledge and demonstrations for band and orchestra instruments
• Process sales, rentals, and returns accurately through POS systems
• Support merchandising, stocking, and store presentation standards
• Open and close the store following company procedures
• Promote private lessons and repair services to students, parents, and educators
• Support school outreach and community engagement initiatives
• Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals
• Handle customer issues and returns with a service-driven mindset
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a student-focused, inclusive environment
