Your Responsibilities

As a Car Wash Sales & Service Technician, you will serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned tunnel wash customers within your territory. You will combine hands‑on technical service with consultative sales, customer training, and relationship management.

In this role, you will help customers optimize wash quality, chemical performance, and operating costs. You will inspect and maintain chemical application equipment, troubleshoot wash performance issues, and identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and develop new business.

  • Conduct routine service visits and serve as the primary contact for assigned tunnel wash customers
  • Inspect, maintain, and calibrate chemical application and dispensing systems
  • Troubleshoot wash quality issues, including foam performance, drying, water spotting, and overall cleaning results, and recommend appropriate improvements
  • Monitor chemical usage, wash performance, and costs, and develop suitable wash package recommendations
  • Support equipment startups, product trials, new customer onboarding, and product deliveries
  • Train wash managers and staff on product usage, equipment maintenance, and operational best practices
  • Develop existing accounts, acquire new customers, and identify additional sales opportunities
  • Build strong customer relationships and ensure high satisfaction and retention
  • Support key account presentations, trade shows, and industry events
  • Maintain CRM records, reports, inventory usage, and territory schedules
  • Provide market and competitor insights and provide support for major technical or customer issues when necessary
Your profile
  • Previous experience in car wash tunnel operations, car wash management, technical service, or consultative sales
  • Experience with detailing chemicals, vehicle wash equipment, chemical dispensing systems, or water treatment systems is an advantage
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship-building skills
  • Sales-oriented approach and the ability to identify and develop business opportunities
  • Confident communication, presentation, and training skills
  • Independent, structured, and goal-oriented working style
  • Strong time and territory management skills
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
