Position Overview
The Corporate & Specialty Sales Representative in Petcare is responsible for business development and account management within identified corporate and specialty customers located in the Fort Worth, TX region. The role requires business planning, territory management, driving sales performance, and occasional travel and evening work for educational programs.
Primary Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize profitable revenue, increase customer base, and identify new business opportunities.
- Propose and implement plans supported by contracts and commercial leads.
- Manage customer accounts via direct interaction at all levels of the sales process, including proactive follow‑up for future needs.
- Understand competitive landscape and pricing to maximize contractual advantages.
- Work with Corporate and Specialty team leads to implement strategic growth initiatives.
- Meet growth objectives overall and for key products through new account penetration.
- Demonstrate success in key sales metrics such as new product penetration, equipment leads, therapeutic area portfolio expansion, and service sales execution.
- Leverage portfolio and contractual pricing program offerings to meet company goals and customer needs, and use account‑management tools to drive new business.
- Respond to and resolve all account needs while maintaining service sales execution and demand generation within the targeted geography.
- Collaborate with team members—commercial lead, marketing lead, veterinary customer service—to build strong relationships and meet corporate and business goals.
- Proactively seize selling opportunities by moving seamlessly between technical expertise and business development discussions, consistently applying solution‑selling skills.
- Develop and execute territory business plans, associate strategies, and quarterly business reviews to maximize ROI and territory performance.
- Undergraduate degree (BS/BA) required.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant selling experience.
- Demonstrated enhanced strategic selling, analytical, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial acumen.
- Animal health experience and knowledge of companion animal veterinary medicine strongly preferred.
- Strong presentation, communication, and computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, Zoetis systems).
- Ability to work independently and in a team, self‑starter, and highly results‑oriented.
Ability and willingness to travel and work some evenings as required.
CompensationBase pay range: $65,500 – $129,000 (location may vary). Eligible for short‑term incentive compensation and long‑term incentive plans.
