You'll own a portfolio of enterprise accounts and carry personal responsibility for growing them. That means walking into a client running a legacy SAP environment and having a real conversation about what an S/4
HANA migration, a BTP build out, or an ongoing Application Managed Services engagement should look like, then turning that conversation into a signed statement of work.
This is a services sales seat, not a software sales seat. You're not selling a license renewal. You're selling delivery hours, a project team, and a multi year managed services relationship, which means the buyer conversation runs through IT leadership and the SAP program owner, not just procurement.
You'd be joining a mid-sized IT services and consulting firm with an established SAP practice, serving enterprise customers across energy and utilities, telecommunications, government, manufacturing, oil and gas, aviation, and retail. Three seats are open, one in each market listed above. If you've spent years at an SAP reseller or systems integrator and you're tired of splitting credit on accounts you built yourself, this is a seat where the portfolio is yours.
WhatYou'll Do
- Own and grow a portfolio of enterprise accounts across the full SAP service line: S/4
HANA migration, assessment and advisory, BTP services, Application Managed Services, and managed testing - Qualify and pursue new business tied to specific SAP offerings and target industries, rather than a generic services pitch
- Build account strategies with the VP, Sales covering retention, satisfaction, and expansion
- Find the upsell path inside existing accounts, moving a client from a single advisory engagement into a multi year managed services relationship where that actually fits
- Build trust with client IT leadership and SAP program stakeholders so you're treated as a long term partner, not a transactional seller
- Partner with delivery and solutions teams on scoping, so what gets sold matches what gets delivered
- Contribute to quarterly and annual account plans, forecasts, and performance reviews
- Represent the firm at client meetings, industry events, and SAP ecosystem forums
- Track pipeline health and account growth, and bring recommendations along with the numbers
- 8+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 managing enterprise accounts
- Direct experience selling SAP professional services (implementation, migration, advisory, or managed services), not only SAP software or license sales
- A quota carrying track record at an SAP reseller, systems integrator, or SAP itself, in a services facing seat such as Services Account Executive, Practice Director, or Client Partner
- Working knowledge of the SAP service landscape, including S/4
HANA, SAP BTP, and SAP managed services and testing, deep enough to hold a credible first conversation with an IT buyer - A record of growing enterprise accounts through upsell, cross sell, and retention
- Strong grasp of enterprise account planning and the customer lifecycle for multi year services engagements
- Comfort working across sales, delivery, and solutions to keep sold scope and delivered scope aligned
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Experience selling into energy and utilities, telecommunications, government, manufacturing, oil and gas, aviation and aerospace, or retail
- Prior time at, or selling alongside, a firm in the SAP partner ecosystem
- Exposure to engagements that pair SAP with AI workflow or integration work
The SAP practice here is established and the delivery bench is real, so you're not selling capability the firm hopes to build later. It's a company of roughly 200 people, which means fewer layers between you and the decisions that affect your accounts.
If you want a defined portfolio, a services story you can actually defend in front of an IT buyer, and comp that pays for closing, this is worth a conversation.
