Director, Direct-to-Consumer Sales

Each day at Assurance America is different, but as a Direct-to-Consumer Sales, Director you will:

• Lead the contact center strategy with a primary focus on driving sales (e.g., auto, renters, commercial) to individual consumers.
• Build and scale a sales-driven culture focused on delivering personalized, consultative, and compliant insurance solutions.
• Establish sales targets, incentives, and performance dashboards to drive conversion rates, quote-to-bind ratios, and revenue growth.
• Interact in-person with our Call Center associates in McAllen, TX.
• The position requires travel to McAllen TX 50% of the time

• Drive performance across inbound sales, outbound campaigns, digital channels, and licensed agent teams.
• Align operations to evolving regulatory requirements, licensing standards, and compliance expectations within the insurance industry.

• Champion the use of data, analytics, AI, and automation to improve contact center performance, customer insights, and sales outcomes.
• Evaluate and implement omni-channel platforms, CRM systems, and quote/bind tools to enhance sales and service capabilities.
• Drive continuous improvement and technology adoption to support self-service, personalization, and first-call resolution.

• Recruit, develop, and lead diverse and empowered teams of sales professionals, licensed agents, supervisors, and operational leaders.
• Cultivate a high-engagement culture that values inclusion, accountability, growth, and collaboration.
• Foster leadership pipelines through succession planning, coaching, and structured career pathing.

• 8+ years of leadership experience in contact center operations, with a strong emphasis on Direct-to-Consumer insurance sales or related financial services.
• Deep understanding of the P&C insurance landscape, including licensing, compliance, underwriting, and regulatory considerations.
• Proven success in scaling outbound and inbound sales operations, optimizing conversion funnels, and driving profitable growth.
• Experience leading multi-site and/or remote teams in a regulated industry.
• Skilled in deploying and optimizing CRM platforms, digital sales tools, customer engagement systems, and contact center technologies.
• Demonstrated success in building cross-functional partnerships to improve sales execution and customer lifecycle management.
• Strong financial acumen, including forecasting, budgeting, and P&L oversight.
• P&C license in resident state or ability to get licensed within 90 days.
• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant insurance designation and/or certification.

Preferred Bilingual (English-Spanish).

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
