* Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a Radiochemist I/II to support a leading organization in the radiopharmaceutical and analytical sciences industry. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with chemistry laboratory experience looking to grow within a regulated production environment.

** Pay:**  $26.50 - $32.00/hour (based on education and experience)

** 6-Month Contract-to-Hire (potential for permanent conversion)

** Responsibilities*
* + Manufacture calibration standards, check sources, and proficiency testing samples

+ Support production activities related to traceability standards

+ Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and inventories

+ Perform quality control measurements and maintain nuclear counting equipment

+ Conduct incoming material inspections

+ Support radioactive waste management, contamination surveys, and minor spill decontamination

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment

+ Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO 17043, and internal quality standards

+ Assist with additional production and laboratory duties as assigned

** Qualifications*
* + Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline

+ Minimum of 1 year of wet laboratory experience

+ Familiarity with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)

+ Strong attention to detail and safety awareness when handling hazardous chemicals

+ Basic understanding of mathematical and statistical concepts

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

+

Experience with nuclear counting methods or nuclear physics is a plus

+ Experience working with power tools or machinery is a plus

** Preferred Skills*
* + Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

+ Ability to work independently and within a team environment

+ Effective written and verbal communication skills

+ Comfortable working in a regulated laboratory setting
