Job Summary

The Laboratory for Lymphatic Biology and Bioengineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for a postdoctoral fellow position focused on developing next-generation experimental platforms to study lymphatic biology and disease.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with substantial hands-on experience in primary cell culture
, organoid culture, microfluidics, and modern molecular biology techniques (e.g., gene expression analysis, genome editing, advanced imaging, and protein assays).

Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will contribute to interdisciplinary projects that integrate bioengineering, mechanobiology, and translational lymphatic research.
  • Prior experience or strong interest in lymphatic biology
    , vascular biology, or related systems is strongly preferred.
  • The postdoctoral fellow will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative, well-funded research environment at Georgia Tech, with access to state-of-the-art core facilities and strong clinical and industry partnerships. Projects emphasize both fundamental discovery and translational impact, including disease modeling and therapeutic development.
Qualifications
  • Required: A doctoral degree in Engineering or related fields.
  • Preferred: PhD in bioengineering, biomedical engineering, biology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise in relevant experimental techniques
  • Strong communication skills and a record of independent research
  • The ability to mentor students at the undergraduate and graduate level, while also collaborating with academic and industry partners.
  • Excellent documentation and reporting skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare technical reports and presentations.
