We are seeking a detail‑oriented Associate Chemist to support laboratory production activities in a regulated environment. This temporary opportunity is ideal for candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry (or a related scientific discipline) and hands‑on laboratory experience.
Responsibilities- Prepare chemical solutions, standards, reagents, and laboratory samples.
- Support the manufacturing of calibration standards and quality control materials.
- Perform sample preparation, labeling, documentation, and inventory activities.
- Review laboratory records and calibration documentation.
- Conduct routine laboratory equipment checks and maintain laboratory supplies.
- Follow laboratory safety procedures, SOPs, and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant laboratory environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
- Minimum 1 year of wet laboratory experience.
- Experience preparing solutions, dilutions, reagents, or laboratory samples.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience in analytical, environmental, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or testing laboratories.
- Familiarity with GLP, GMP, ISO 9001, ISO 17025, or similar quality systems.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship (U.S. Citizens and Green Card holders preferred).
- No relocation assistance is available. Candidates should be local to the Atlanta area or able to commute daily.
