** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.

+ Monitor access to the facility, verifying identification and credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors as required.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences at the front desk location.

+ Communicate and coordinate with Allied Universal management and client representatives regarding security-related matters.

+ Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, including guiding individuals during evacuation or lockdown situations.

+ Support the maintenance of order within the location by helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess an armed guard card or license.

+ Have at least 6 months of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles.

+ Provide a DD214 with honorable discharge or an associate degree or 60 college credits or a police academy certificate or a corrections academy certificate.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
