Georgia Tech is a top‑ranked public research university in Atlanta. This position is within the Georgia Tech Athletic Associate (GTAA), supporting the varsity football program.
Job SummaryBreak down opponent defensive schemes, create detailed reports, playbooks, and game books, maintain practice and game plans, and advise coaching staff.
Responsibilities- Work with offensive staff in the off‑season to plan, create, and implement offensive philosophies for the football team.
- Assist in creating the offensive playbook and synthesize input from position coaches.
- Assist the offensive staff in developing a game plan and strategy for each opponent.
- Assist with grading after each practice, input and edit video, and conduct opponent scouting.
- Participate in offensive meetings; break down opponent defensive game plans and schemes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Educational:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Experience:
0–2 years of relevant experience. - Knowledge of video review and performance analysis tools and digital video software.
- Knowledge of the DV Sport Program and Hudl.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Knowledge of ACC and NCAA rules and regulations.
This role requires thorough knowledge of video review and performance analysis tools and digital video acquisition, analysis, and playback software.
