As an armed patrol officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with calm, clear communication. You will support visitors and staff with professional customer service while documenting observations and partnering with your team.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial services location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

+ Monitor access control points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying identification, observing visitor activity, and/or following sign-in procedures as required by post orders.

+ Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, and/or critical incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken per site guidelines.

+ Complete detailed reports and logs, communicate notable activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and support security-related investigations as directed.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or have a college degree.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Have 5 or more years of security-related experience.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
