Position Title: Concierge Safety Doorman/Doorman
Location: Del Bar Inman Park
Reports To: Property Management & Valor Protection Safety Agency Leadership
Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Position PurposeThe Concierge Safety Doorman/Doorman is the first and last point of contact for residents, guests, and visitors, serving as both a hospitality ambassador and a safety professional
. This role blends world‑class concierge service with elite security awareness, ensuring every interaction is welcoming, professional, and discreet while maintaining vigilant oversight of the property’s safety and security environment.
The Concierge Safety Officer safeguards the community with a balance of warmth, attentiveness, and authority, setting the tone for a refined and secure living or working environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Hospitality & Resident Engagement- Greet residents, guests, and visitors with professionalism, courtesy, and discretion.
- Provide concierge-style services such as assisting with directions, packages, reservations, or general inquiries.
- Establish rapport and build trust with residents while maintaining professional boundaries.
- Serve as an extension of property management by ensuring resident satisfaction and responding promptly to concerns.
- Monitor building entrances, exits, and lobbies to prevent unauthorized access.
- Verify and manage visitor, contractor, and vendor entry in accordance with property protocols.
- Maintain situational awareness of all activity in the lobby and perimeter areas.
- Conduct scheduled safety checks of access points, parking areas, and common spaces.
- Identify and immediately report suspicious activity, safety hazards, or policy violations.
- Act as the first responder to incidents, emergencies, or disruptions in the lobby or common areas.
- Provide assistance during fire alarms, medical emergencies, evacuations, or disturbances.
- Activate escalation protocols and notify law enforcement, fire, or EMS when required.
- Guide residents and guests calmly and clearly during emergency situations.
- Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports, and daily activity records.
- Provide concise and professional updates to property management and Valor Protection leadership.
- Ensure clear communication with residents while safeguarding confidentiality at all times.
- Uphold impeccable grooming, attire, and demeanor consistent with luxury hospitality standards.
- Model Valor Protection’s values of Excellence, Integrity, Professionalism, Education, and Accountability in all interactions.
- Participate in ongoing training in security awareness, customer service, emergency procedures, and concierge protocols.
- Represent both the property and Valor Protection with refinement, discretion, and reliability.
- Minimum 21 years of age
. - High School Diploma or GED required; college-level education preferred.
- Prior experience in concierge, hospitality, security, or customer service strongly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; bilingual ability (English/Spanish or other languages) preferred.
- Ability to stand or remain stationed for extended periods and respond swiftly when needed.
- Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days).
- Background free of disqualifying criminal or disciplinary history.

- Full-time or part-time schedules available depending on property needs.
- Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays.
- Work is primarily stationed in the lobby/entrance area with periodic patrol duties.
