Overview

Security Officer Experienced Patrol Detail in Atlanta, GA. Part-Time position with a focus on patrolling a commercial real estate location, delivering customer service, and maintaining a visible security presence to deter incidents.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour. Typical schedule (Part-Time):
Mon–Fri 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and/or property issues.
  • Monitor access points and support visitor and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site rules, reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or hazards to the appropriate contacts.
  • Support daily operations by preparing reports, recording incidents, and providing assistance during alarms, evacuations, and/or other building-related events.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess 5 or more years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
