• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government services location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders for an armed patrol assignment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, public lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, employee, and/or contractor activity in accordance with site policies.
• Prepare clear reports on incidents, patrol activities, and/or unusual conditions, and communicate with local staff and law enforcement when appropriate.

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
