** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to all persons on site by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a technology and telecommunications environment.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or contractor entry as directed by site procedures, and report access concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity.

+ Support day-to-day site operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance, and completing assigned reports related to patrol activity, incidents, and/or observations.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ CPR and/or First Aid training is preferred and may be completed post hire.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
